Volkswagen Parts Warranty
Volkswagen Parts are backed by a 2-year / unlimited-kilometre limited warranty from the date of purchase. Some parts, including batteries, come with a longer warranty. If purchased from an authorized dealer during the new-vehicle limited warranty period, parts are covered for the longer of either the remainder of that new-vehicle limited warranty period or a period of 2 years / unlimited kilometres.
Accessories Warranty
Accessories are covered for the new-vehicle limited warranty period of 4 years / 80,000 km (whichever occurs first) when purchased at the time of new vehicle purchase. If purchased from an authorized dealer during the new-vehicle limited warranty period, accessories are covered for the longer of either the remainder of that new-vehicle limited warranty period or a period of 2 years / unlimited kilometres.
Accessories are covered for the 2-year / 40,000 km CPO limited warranty extension when purchased at the time of CPO vehicle purchase with the Premium Assurance Program.
Battery Warranty
Volkswagen batteries are backed by a 3-year / unlimited-kilometre limited warranty,* and for 2 years after Volkswagen will absorb a prorated percentage of the battery replacement cost.**

Volkswagen vehicles sold in Canada are eligible for 4 years / 80,000 km, beginning at the date of vehicle delivery or warranty start date, whichever comes first.
Certified Pre-Owneds
CPO vehicles come with an additional coverage beginning at the expiration of the original coverage or sale date of the Certified Pre-Owned vehicle, whichever is later.
